The Burnisher is used to create and maintain the burr on the edge of Spoon Scrapers and Cabinet Scrapers. With a burnisher tool, burr is drawn to an edge that is sharp enough so wood peel is very fine and smooth. If the burrs become dull, a new one can be made with a burnisher tool.
