Refurbished Pre-loved German made Axe, with 4″ Edge.

Description

We have done a serious refurbishment with these second hand axes, most of which were made in Rheinland by Helko Werk. A very German style of Axe – and the style is ideal for spoon carving and green woodworking!

We have cleaned up the heads and handles, re-hafted the handles into the heads, sharpenned the edges, oiled the handles, and even fitted them with protective leather sheaths which we have hand made.

The curved cutting edge is 4 inches (125mm) long, the total length of the tool is approx 15 inches (380mm).
