Carving Blocks – Basswood OR English Lime X 2

Description

Basswood and English Lime wood is easy and lovely to carve, to whittle and to shape with knives and carving tools!

You get two carving blocks of Basswood OR English Lime – these woods are from the same genus and have very similar properties (broadly, they grow on different sides of the Atlantic Ocean).

Each block is approx 45-55 wide x 35-45mm thick x approx 180mm long, straight off the saw. This is an ideal size for carving Comfort Birds, Spoons, Chooks & Ducks, other animals – whatever you wish!

Each block is a blank slate waiting for you to apply your whittling and/or carving skills to create some wonderful wooden goodies using such a lovely wood!!
