Sloyd Knife – HYW (Huseyin Yalcin) – 80mm blade – made in Turkey. The 80mm blade is made from O1 tool steel. Long narrow blade with long curving point. The shape is very like the original Mora 106 knife profile – before Mora changed it to their current more chunky bellied shape. The octagonal handle is very comfortable – many people find this handle shape gives better directional control and feedback than a round handle.

We are pleased to now offer these high quality knives, made by Huseyin Yalcin (HYW), in Turkey.
The 80mm blade is made from O1 tool steel, and is ground to a nice sharp edge ready to use. We love the shape of the long narrow blade with its long curving point. The blade shape is very like the original Mora 106 knife profile – before Mora changed it to their current more chunky bellied shape.
The octagonal handle is very comfortable in the hand, and many people find this handle shape gives better directional control and feedback than a round handle.
