Leather Strop

Description

The leather Strop is used to maintain the edge of knives and edge tools by polishing the edge to razor sharp.
We make these strops. The surface area of the leather is approx 220 x 60, and this is bonded to a piece of ply which is about 18mm thick – leaving lots of room to hold the strop when using it on your hook knives, as demonstrated in the video on our YouTube Channel: www.youtube.com/@thejoyofwood.

We have charged up the leather surface with a buffing compound, so the Strop is ready for you to use. You will also receive a stick of green polishing compound with each Strop, so you can charge it up again whenever it needs it..
